SOTI MobiControl

Scenario:

A local warehouse and delivery service received new driver delivery software that was designed for use on Android devices. Customer had no existing infrastructure or support setup to handle Android devices.

Solution:

We proposed using SOTI's MobiControl solution to assist with their new tablet project. The customer elected to use SOTI's cloud hosting service, allowing the service to leverage SOTI's expertise in configuring and maintaining the software. With the use of MobiControl, the customer was able to have realtime access and remote control to each of the delivery driver tablets. MobiControl allowed the customer to deploy and maintain the APK's used for their custom software, ensuring the correct version was on all tablet at all times as well as any other option software that the customer desired on the tablets. Allowing multiple dispatchers to see the location of and send messages to drivers enabled much faster communication between dispatch and drivers. The remote control facilities enabled quick fixes and support from internal IT rather than having to wait for the driver to return.
